Les WF-1000XM4 sont les écouteurs intra-auriculaires à réduction de bruit de Sony compatibles LDAC, le codec maison pour l'audio haute résolution sans fil. Ils prennent aussi en charge l'AAC et le SBC, se rechargent complètement en environ 1,5 heure, et 5 minutes de charge rendent environ 1 heure de musique.
C'est sur l'autonomie qu'il faut regarder de près, parce que le codec décide de tout. En LDAC avec la réduction de bruit activée, Sony publie un maximum de 3,5 heures. En AAC, réduction de bruit activée et DSEE Extreme désactivé, on atteint 8 heures, et jusqu'à 12 heures sans réduction de bruit. En conversation, comptez au mieux 5,5 heures.
Côté résistance, Sony parle de caractéristiques « équivalentes au niveau IPX4 » de la norme IEC 60529 : des projections d'eau, mais pas d'immersion. L'étui de recharge, lui, n'est pas protégé ; il se recharge par USB ou sur une station Qi.

Warranty and after-sales service
Sony commercial warranty: 24 months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects.
Legal guarantee of conformity: 2 years. It falls to us as the seller — you do not have to contact the manufacturer. During those 24 months you only have to establish that the defect exists, not when it appeared. Any repair under this heading extends the warranty by six months.
Warranty against hidden defects under Article 1641 of the French Civil Code, within 2 years of discovering the defect.
Need to claim? Return number within 2 working days and return postage at our expense.
Delivery, insurance and returns
Dispatch within 1 to 2 working days of payment clearing, by Colissimo, to mainland France, Corsica, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland. Handed over against signature, never left in a letterbox.
The parcel leaves with a declared value with the carrier, at our expense — the amount covered is shown when you order. If it is lost or damaged, the responsibility is ours as the seller: we refund you or send a replacement.
Returns within 30 days, of which 14 are the statutory right to cancel. Return postage at your expense; insure the parcel for its value. Refund within 14 days at the latest.
Old equipment take-back
This device falls under the waste electrical and electronic equipment scheme. When you buy, we take back a used device of the same type free of charge, one for one, whatever its brand and condition.
We send you a prepaid return label. The device is taken back even if it no longer works.
