Les WF-1000XM5 sont les écouteurs à réduction de bruit haut de gamme de Sony : un transducteur dynamique de 8,4 mm de type fermé, une réponse de 20 Hz à 20 000 Hz qui monte à 40 000 Hz en LDAC, et quatre codecs pris en charge, SBC, AAC, LDAC et LC3. Le Bluetooth est en version 5.3, pour une portée effective de 10 m.
Sony annonce 8 h au maximum en lecture avec la réduction de bruit activée, 12 h sans, et 6 h en conversation. La recharge demande environ 1,5 heure pour les écouteurs et 2 heures pour le boîtier, par port USB ou sur une station sans fil.
La vraie différence avec la génération précédente tient à l'encombrement : Sony les donne environ 25 % plus petits et 20 % plus légers que les WF-1000XM4, à environ 5,9 g par écouteur avec les embouts M, dans un boîtier de 39 g. Sur l'eau, Sony écrit « équivalent IPX4 » : des projections, pas une immersion.

Warranty and after-sales service
Sony commercial warranty: 24 months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects.
Legal guarantee of conformity: 2 years. It falls to us as the seller — you do not have to contact the manufacturer. During those 24 months you only have to establish that the defect exists, not when it appeared. Any repair under this heading extends the warranty by six months.
Warranty against hidden defects under Article 1641 of the French Civil Code, within 2 years of discovering the defect.
Need to claim? Return number within 2 working days and return postage at our expense.
Delivery, insurance and returns
Dispatch within 1 to 2 working days of payment clearing, by Colissimo, to mainland France, Corsica, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland. Handed over against signature, never left in a letterbox.
The parcel leaves with a declared value with the carrier, at our expense — the amount covered is shown when you order. If it is lost or damaged, the responsibility is ours as the seller: we refund you or send a replacement.
Returns within 30 days, of which 14 are the statutory right to cancel. Return postage at your expense; insure the parcel for its value. Refund within 14 days at the latest.
Old equipment take-back
This device falls under the waste electrical and electronic equipment scheme. When you buy, we take back a used device of the same type free of charge, one for one, whatever its brand and condition.
We send you a prepaid return label. The device is taken back even if it no longer works.
